She helped the family by being the boy's English speaking aide in his international school classroom. Upon graduating with a double major in Sociology, Sara moved to live with her older brother in Hong Kong, China where she met a family with a 5 year old son diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Sara grew up in Theresa, Wisconsin and studied Criminology and Law at Marquette University as an undergraduate. Jeff's favorite Disney character is Goofy, because he is funny and a great father to Max. Jeff was invited to speak in May 2013 to be one of three speakers in a symposium on transitions at the national center in Applied Behavior Analysis in Minneapolis.
Jeff completed his masters degree from Western New England University in August 2013 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in January 2013. Jeff would work at the renowned New England Center for Children for 5 years as he learned from some of the leaders in the field. Jeff moved to Massachusetts after graduation and began working at the New England Center for Children. This was the beginning of his career working with people with special needs and applied behavior analysis.
